In the beginning

We learn from our capacities to perceive, interact and express ourselves in surroundings which provide stimuli from a variety of sources, an overall multi-sensory experience. It is this natural, stimulating and fundamental process which exist irrespective to the socioeconomic or ideological values in our current paradigm that we embrace and strive to cultivate.

For many, the process of learning has become equated to being boring, something you do only if you have to. We want to make it more interesting and contribute to an environment that embraces people with lots of energy to channel it in creative forms. Those involved acknowledge that this is something we are all trying to figure out, a learning experience, a program in its infancy,
a chance to be involved in collective organic growth.

Reflections

Conventional learning promotes a regimented standardized environment in which creative subjects and engaging methods of teaching are the last to be developed and are often cut, while asking “it’s” students to embrace authority, memorize and regurgitate information to excel in order to cater to dominant industry sectors.

As solutions to many of societies problems require less convention and more empathy and creativity, we hope that this will be a step towards providing, much needed creative outlets that empowers others  to meaningfully engage in their future's and in the lives of other's. Creativity is usually associated with aesthetic expression, but we hope that this will also translate into the application of creativity to make our planet just a little bit better...maybe a lot better, one creative manifestation at a time.
