Hey everyone,

I’m hosting a “I❤ Internet Empowerment Workshop” during the holiday weekend, July 2nd @ 1:30pm - 3:30pm. The theme will be “Create, Collaborate and Disseminate”. For the time being we will focus on some basics of a few free online resources. I will conduct this as an open form of “instructing” where if any of the participants have suggestions and or can add to the information being shared within the context of the workshop, the participants are more than welcome to collaborate.

We will go over the following free resources,

Opening a Gmail account and some of its functions

What is HTML and where can you learn it

Starting your own website.

Space is limited, 12 seats on computers and another 8 seats without computers.

We will be video recording and taking photographs at the event to share on the web.

Whether you're planning a major bash or a low key get-together, Fat Cat is the perfect spot for parties and events of just about any size and variety. Reservations are never required, but are accepted, for your convenience. Please read the following policies if you're considering an event at Fat Cat.

Party reservations are accepted for gaming tables only (not chess tables, booths, or general seating area). Pricing is the same as our walk-in prices:

• $3 cover per person after 6:00

• Gaming fees of 9¢/person/minute Sun-Thu, 11¢/person/min. Fri-Sat

• Individual drinks, which range from $3 to $9 each
